PPI Oilfield Acronym Glossary

PPI Technology Services is pleased to provide its Oilfield Acronym Glossary. We regularly update this resource with various oil-related terms (not all of which are acronyms).

These terms include definitions of acronyms and phrases used across the worldwide oil and gas industry, including regulatory; association; seismic; laboratory; health, safety, and environmental; exploration; production; upstream; midstream; and downstream terms. Many subcategories are represented in this oilfield dictionary, including acronyms and abbreviations for drilling, completion, well cementing, mud logging, pipeline, and well logging disciplines.

We hope you find these helpful. Check back regularly, because we add oil and gas acronyms and terms on a weekly or monthly basis.
